#FOFriday finished the rainbowjersey I was #knitting. Proper cyclingfit. I might still make some armpieces and add on pockets. Also not sure about the sleeves. But I guess it's alright for a prototype. #menwhoknit

Here's my #WIPWednesday toot. I made nice progress on the rainbowjersey. Those of you that would argue, that's not a rainbow, that's correct. It's a rainbowjersey as in cycling. I.e. multicoloured, as opposed to the yellow jersey or the dotted jersey. I just reached the armholes and am now wondering how to do the neck with either a zip or buttons. I never did either. #knitting #menwhoknit

#FOFriday my first attempt at ajour. Newly finished and after one year of wearing it nearly continuous. Note to self; even tighter next time. #knitting #MenWhoKnit

#WIPWednesday Sock one fits her like a... ehm..."glove"? Second hem done and ready to rock. #knitting #MenWhoKnit

1 of 2 finished. I know it's not a proper toesock like my other ones, but it's for my mum, who isn't a toesock afficionado. It's a bit tight on me, so should be just right on her. With the big toe separate she can use them in flipflops. Now let's see if I can avoid second sock syndrome.

Only four more inches of delightfully dull stocking stitch before I get the fun stuff.
Pattern is Whistler by Dale of Norway, the Norwegian ski team jumper for the 2010 winter Olympics.

I love how the left and right leaning increases shape and define the shoulder on this t-shirt, leavinh a really beautiful edge.

A test knit for a lovely designer in the UK

In the final stretch of a test knit I started in December. This is the first time I have knit a jumper where you pick up and knit the arms from the steeks.

It’s been way too long since I cast on something new, and my fingers were itchy. Kore Vest by Jared Flood/Brooklyn Tweed incoming. #knitters #knitting #menwhoknit #menknitting

Been working on my second skein of my kinda shoddy garter blanket. I like the colour combo well enough.
But I have new yarn in a bulky or super bulky weight that is really soft and I keep eying it because I plan on it being a smaller final product. But I want to finish my first project first. 😁

Need more #menwhoknit. Anyway, I think I might try the attached #pattern for the #catblanket project. Gonna practice some #Purl Stitching on some leftover #yarn first. 😁

St Brigid update #2
Washed and on the blocking mat.
It's really hard to capture the colour of the yarn, but this is pretty close.
I think that the cables are showing better definition after this wash.I cast on the front while the weekends rolls were baking, with a nice cup of tea (of course 🇬🇧 )

St Brigid update.
I've finally finished the back and cast off . I took a break because I've been crocheting a Mastodon #Amigurumi for my husband and the tusks are fiddly AF.
Anyway, 8 iterations of 5 charts later, I'm pretty chuffed with the result. I can't wait to see what it looks like blocked!

St Brigid update
I have now completed four repeats of the 24 row charts and you can really see the flow of the knotwork starting to come through. I think after blocking this should look stunning. I noticed a stitch error on one cable (I purled instead of a knit), but I decided to leave it and own the flaw in my work, perfection is for the Borg.#knittersofmastodon #menwhoknit #knitstodon #knitfastdiewarm
