--- you, a clever person, understanding that typical is just what happens when the search space is constrained enough that most runs land in the same basin. Normal is a statistical claim dressed up as a moral one.

  3. Ok, maybe I know two ways to test things

    [y'all remember goose pong? 🪿🪩🥤]

I thought maybe I'd invert things for a change. Never done that before

I've got a system that walks a graph as a compiler

I've got a system that walks a graph as a linker

I've got a system that walks a graph as a web component toolkit

I think it uses SQL or something. Need to get the shape of it in my head. Inversion.

They write the tests, I execute them. Fuck knows where this AI stuff is going, but at least I get to play games. Good enough

[the game, not my results apparently]

    Guess who? Chuck Testa

--- yoneda, in a whimsical riff on the idea that testing the exchange boundary between composing layers of your architecture is sufficient if the surface area of the boundary has been sufficiently constrained through grammar as the test surface and exchange surface are isomorphic in a well tested system and that was his idea all along

Procedural TDD is like writing instructions for a machine you haven't built to verify the behaviour for something you haven't defined. The output is going to look like the process. I have no idea what annoyed RSpec looks like in real life, but I expect he develops in Rails.

Verify the shapes. The increase geometrically with the surface area so it encourages good system design.

    I think
