Reddit is mostly pretty (unbearably) bad these days, but Violet Blue shared this thread of stories of interactions with ICE, and it's worth reading for the reminder that it's not just LA & DC & Chicago, it's all over, and for the cumulative impact of so many awful stories, reminders how fast it happens and how often people are moved from place to place to hide them from loved ones and lawyers, and how inhumane the detention sites are (no water, no edible food, no medical care, full of bugs, cold, lit 24/7, and so on), green card holders and elected officials brutalized, citizens deported, worksites shut down, children terrorized. You know. But do you realize.
