I've been playing Terra Nil, and overall: pretty fun game. But I just got to the point where I need to use monorail nodes to repopulate the coral and this is a hateful experience! Nothing connects right! I'm going to have to watch a youtube video about this later to get through the experience.

I recently bought an @itchio bundle specifically because #TerraNil was there, and today my kids convinced me to try and play it, because they liked the idea of reconquering the land for animals and plants. It is indeed a pretty nice game.

Finally 100%ed #TerraNil on Environmental Engineer difficulty. 🥳 That last zone I think I started over upwards of a dozen times. Very tight equipment budget.

The other game I've been playing and enjoying has been #TerraNil - a very interesting "anti"-citybuilder.
I love citybuilders, so I was excited about the prospect of rejuvenating a post-post-apocalyptic wasteland into a thriving ecosystem, then leaving it to animal caretakers of the land.
This last part is the stage of each mission I have a lot of frustration with. I really like how relaxing it is and I'll eventually review Terra Nil here: https://backloggd.com/u/astarrgames/

It's not necessarily a #solarpunk game, but something for people who enjoyed #TerraNil :

Treated as a reverse factory simulator, #TerraNil didn't grab me.

But as a funky city sim / puzzle game hybrid, like Urbek, Islanders, or maybe Dorfromantik? I blew right past my bedtime reminder.

(it's little or no automation or management, and way more optimized placement)

@elmyra Terra Nil is fun and has very solarpunk aesthetics. It doesn't really have the community aspect, but focuses on rewilding land damaged by human activity.
