Klar können wir das. Wir als Spezies, als Menschheit, haben unsere Umwelt in einem riesigen Maßstab verändert und nicht nur die Erdoberfläche sondern auch das Klima immens beeinflußt. Nur nicht unbedingt zu unserem langfristigen Vorteil. Und wir wüßten von einem technischen Standpunkt, wie wir dieses Terraforming in eine bessere Richtung steuern¹ könnten. Wir wissen nur nicht, wie wir das gesellschaftlich hinbekommen – und daß wir #Kapitalismus haben, trägt dazu bei.

Die TechBros hingegen träumen von Terraforming auf einem anderen Planeten, wo sie das als rein technisches Problem sehen – schließlich sind da keine Menschen² und kein Kapitalismus.

Wouldn't the aerosol compounds eventually find their way to the surface? Not sure I want to breathe in aluminum.
Back on Earth, aluminum in the atmosphere isn't such a great idea.
