#Halphas released a gem of german #BlackMetal
It’s rough, it’s melodic, it has a good groove through the whole album! Almost oldschool. I listened in the last two years a lot of black metal albums, this is definitely something different!

Another lucky find while I was checking the #February #releases
#Grin is a #doom #sludge #stoner band from Berlin 🇩🇪
As I said never heard before, but it was an instant one on my list. I’ve read some reviews and some said their sound is very unique in the genre. I’m new to this one and thought, I find it so unique because it’s new to me 😅

#Narzissus is a one man show from #Austria 🇦🇹
This #blackmetal album presents a wide variety of instruments, lot of #folk motives from East Europe, especially the #Balkans (for my ears at least). Also some #finnish lyrics. Black metal is often sketchy, Narzissus is #Antifa and #antinsbm one more reason to support him over on his #Bandcamp site if you’re into #atmosphericblackmetal
I love this album and the discography of him was a no-brainer for me.

#Olhava , the Russian duo,released a new album in #January and it’s something unbelievable for me. #atmosphericblackmetal at its finest. A very long album but if you want to give it a spin, I’d recommend listening it in a single session.
It creates a giant virus, which will drag you down (in a very good way) until you reach the bottom. The 1:19 will seem definitely shorter.

But it’s something along the #ProgressiveDeathMetal #deatchore #djent (?) line. A really enjoyable EP and the lineup is also pretty spectacular. At least for me
