Tentacular was another one I picked up with store credit, and... I'm mixed on it so far. I like it conceptually, I like the animations of the little people and the little charming details. I should like the low pixel aesthetic, but sometimes it doesn't work. The pacing is weird, and I suspect the physics may not be working quite right on Quest 3? I feel like I have to pull a lot harder or further in some cases than I probably should, to the point where the tentacle is distorting. Even with the tips/body mechanic, it feels on the edge of "not right". I also don't like how it starts timing a task while the NPCs are still explaining it to you. You can't really get good times to start with if you want to pay attention to the instructions or lore. Also cardinal comfort sin of push-sliding your body away from some edges while trying to pick up things, that's rarely a good time. You can't see your body in this game, so it feels a bit picky. #tentacular #vr #metaquest #comfort #gaming
