It was 18 years ago this month that my mom, Patricia and I sang at The Golden Lion Hotel on 'open mic' in Anchorage that evening and our late cousin Ramona and her husband Jerry filmed the whole thing.
I'm so grateful they took the time to be there to see us sing, bringing their camera to film and gave us this video footage that I cherish of those times.

I've been trying to play tenor #banjo chords on a classical guitar with 4 strings. I think I'm going to need to get longer fingers. Arguably, these are #tenorguitar chords but with space-time stretched. I'm sure the pain will go, given time.
(I forgot to put the capo on 5, to make GDAE into CGDA; and closer together. Not 7! It's "Cats Go", not "Go Cats". Rookie error!)
I have a small GDAE ukulele but it's an octave too high, which is a different type of pain.) -

My favorite instrument to play is a tenor guitar (four strings and tuned like a cello). There's not a ton of YouTube tutorials for playing popular artists on this guitar. Trying to find the right sounding chords takes a bit of tinkering. A few of the songs I just play in a different key because the chords are easier. 😅 What does it matter? The audience is only me.
