In this review of Reincarnated as a Sword, I go on record saying that the series would be better without Shishou, the titular sword. I don't think he adds anything that couldn't be replicated by a better character.

I found it pretty interesting how, in Reincarnated as a Sword, Fran is a relatively normal girl. All of "her" skills actually belong to Shishou. Without her sword, she's not much stronger than your average person.

Are isekai series about being reincarnated as inanimate objects any good? There are two anime like this that I know of, and Reincarnated as a Sword is the better of the two. But, how does it compare to normal isekai? #TenKen

Yes, these are the highlights, I wasn't lying about the "far too much anime" thing.
Professionally I do #DevOps things (super-fancy #IT stuff if that term means nothing to you). I used to be a #developer but hated writing worse software just so we could do silly things like "deliver on time".
