Aktuell unternehme ich ein paar meiner Reisen mit einer #Tenere700 von #Yamaha könnte mir aber gut vorstellen diese zugunsten eines Elektro-Motorrad irgendwann abzugeben.
Das Lastenheft wird wohl ziemlich gleich bleiben:
Eine Reiseenduro der Mittelklasse die vor gelegentlichen Fahrten über Schotter nicht kapituliert. Autobahn ist unwichtig, nur Fahrten über möglichst kleine Nebenstrecken und auf längeren Anfahrten natürlich auch ein wenig Bundesstraße.
Der entscheidende Faktor ist die Reichweite. Absolut sichere 250 Kilometer sollten möglichst sein. Was bedeutet nach etwa 200 Kilometer an den Stecker, was bei meinem Fahrprofil 2x auf An-u. Abreise bedeutet und 1x auf den dazwischen liegenden Tagestouren.
Die CanAm Origin mit ihren 35 kW kommt schon in die Richtung....bis auf die Reichweite...mal sehen was die Zukunft bringt.

There were a lot of single track trails through heavy undergrowth, and some steep rock climbs that caused some bigger bikes to turn around. Weather was great though, and I was ready for a beer (and shower) after a fantastic day.

Weather was great though, and I was ready for a beer (and shower) after a fantastic day.

It’s difficult to see in the picture, but this is one of the drops on the MX track. I swear the first 2m are vertical, and this is not the only one. 😱

I’m at the #AdventureCountryTracks camp in Hürtgenwald, DE. It’s on a much smaller scale than the #AdventureBikeRider festival or #HorizonsUnlimited meet-ups that seem to get more popular every year. But that’s good, it feels more intimate and friendly. Plus they have an amazing motocross track that I can’t wait to try tomorrow.

The first day after arrival on the Ténéré Travel Trophy is the Ténéré Experience. At a motocross track near the campsite routes of different terrain are marked out.
