I’ve listened to the latest album (Doperider) by #TheUtopiaStrong now a couple times and it’s honestly brilliant. Musical, layered, electronic goodness but with other instruments too.
#UtopiaStrong is a project by Michael J York (#Teleplasmiste, played also with #Coil), #SteveDavis (#snooker champion) and #KavusTorabi. I feel with this album they have gone beyond the individual sparkles to a complete artwork. Recommended.

Yes, that Steve Davis, the 6 times #snooker world champion. Apparently Steve is a fan of that kind of music!

Oh, it seems #Teleplasmiste has a video of the track, by #TomHurst. Equally evocative. Like a sorrowful ode to our world that one day will no longer exist, and all its memories lost to the haze.

This track (A Boy Called Conjuror) is simultaneously ancient and yet contemporary (without rubbing it in or trying to be clever). A beautifully timeless creation by #Teleplasmiste. I only just discovered Michael J York from Teleplasmiste played on multiple records by #Coil, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised to like the sound so much.

Still buzzing from #AcidHorse !! Loved our strange slowly building version of I Feel Love & our collaborators were incredible at picking up on the cosmic shards we sent out - Dan (#UKAEA) added gnarly #electronics , Janine (A’Bear) vocal gymnastics were great (so were the other vocalist but I didn’t catch her name), synths from Mark Pilkington (#LuminousFoundation, #Teleplasmiste ) ,John Doran (the quietus, Hitiloma) and several others, Chinese instruments by Zoe,violin by Agathe, Neil’s guitar!
