I was so busy every day last week with the TEI Conference in Kraków @TEIConsortium #tei2025 that I am only posting highlights now after we concluded! I have an odd (ODD!) take on TEI that we prove our work robust as we transform and translate it across models and paradigms—as so much of this splendid conference demonstrated! Thanks to Jan Rybicki, @turska , + organizers at Jagiellonian University for a marvelous conference experience!

This morning at #TEI2025 Julian Jarosch @mungo_s_park presented the CMIFerator, the function library powering the inclusion of BKD in @correspSearch using the #TEI subset Correspondence Metadata Interchange Format.

The CMIFerator (https://github.com/digicademy/cmiferator) emerged from requirements shared between the two digital editions of letters BKD and the Socinian Correspondence (https://sozinianer.de).

Today Thomas Kollatz @thomaskollatz presented our project at #TEI2025 under the keyword “LEGOstyle”: how we use #TEI to build a modular, flexible edition.

#TEI2025 – workshops, first presentations, poster slam and poster session have already gone very well. Here comes the opening keynote “Perspectives on New Territories in Digital Editing” by Jadwiga Kita-Huber of Jagiellonian University!

Nicht schlecht Herr Specht! #TEI2025

Diese Woche kommen wir viel herum. Während Thomas Kollatz (@thomaskollatz) und Julian Jarosch (@mungo_s_park) unterwegs nach #Krakow sind zur #TEI2025, reisen Denise Jurst-Görlach (@dengo) und Nadine Dietz (@nadie) zum diesjährigen #Germanistiktag nach #Braunschweig.
Wir können eben #DigitalHumanities UND #Literaturwissenschaft. 💪
