Acapulco, Mexico today where we headed off to visit the Tehuacalco archaeological zone and the vast remains of a ceremonial site of the Yope people. A pelota court, pictured, was the highlight for me, but there were plenty of temples and pyramids around too. About 80 of us visited in 4 smaller groups, and we had armed national guards at the site and the place to ourselves as it opened today specifically for us.
