Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen (Freeports 'R' Us) & his cronies Chris Musgrave & Martin Corney are forced to renegotiate the ownership model of the controversial Teesworks regeneration project, after adverse publicity following the independent review of their land grab.

🔵 Ben Houchen (Conservatives): 53.6% (-19.2)
🔴 Chris McEwan (Labour): 41.3% (+14.1)
🟠 Simon Thorley (Liberal Democrats): 5.0% (new)

Conservative HOLD.

Changes with last election.

Note the size of the swings (looking good for Labour at the general election). Houchen must be thankful that Reform UK chose not to stand here, but that 12 point majority is a commanding one.
