What a week. We had a student teacher who is finishing her MLIS. She has never worked in a library before, in any capacity. While she’s currently a veteran social studies teacher, we had to show her everything. Rough sorting, shelving, processing, cataloging, she tagged along on reference questions, checking-in and out books, acquisitions, vendors, periodical retention, and claiming. Damn, we do a lot of stuff. #library #MediaCenter #librarian #TechServices
