Ciò che rende il potere efficace non è la coercizione, ma l'automatismo dell'abitudine. Un potere assoluto è quello che non si manifesta mai, che non si rivela mai, che si fonde completamente con ciò che è scontato. Il potere è più forte quando non viene più percepito come tale da chi vi è soggetto.
Il #potere assoluto si raggiunge quando #libertà e #sottomissione coincidono completamente.
