Yes Rusk desk is nice, however does it support wayland? No I need to be logged in on the remote end to approve, kinda not the point of remote desktop.

Pull request #15420 — "feat(linux): DRM/KMS direct capture for Wayland — no portal consent required" was opened and is still open/under review (as of the most recent activity, it was awaiting maintainer approval for CI)Wayland isnt new, its becomeing not just the default, but the only option on most mainline distros.. KRDC fixed this issue about a year ago..

I just watched the latest Techmoan video reviewing the Philips Fidelio FT1 Record and CD player and wow, some bizarre decisions were made when creating this thing.
First off, the auto-mute thing (which apparently YOU CAN'T TURN OFF) is baffling, how did anyone think this was a good idea? Why would anyone want this option? Mad.
The lack of physical buttons for the CD player is crazy too, OK there's a play/pause button but no skip or stop buttons? Having all the buttons and settings in a bloody app is a dreadful idea.
Did Philips even test this thing with actual humans before selling it?

TIL: Es gibt #Musik, die speziell dafür ausgelegt ist, auf einem X/Y-#Oszilloskop sinnvolle #Vektor-#Animationen zu produzieren.
Die Darstellungsprobleme dürften aber eher an unzureichender DC-Kopplung und weniger an der Ausgabequalität an sich liegen.

That is an "Astell&Kern" device from 2012, which I found at #Goodwill for $1. I got a replacement battery that matches the charging circuit, and it is ready to go again. It drives my Audio Technica studio headphones very well.
Those overpriced players were a flop. Of course. Who spends $$$ on a player?

#Techmoan posted a video today about another strange format, this time discussing bird records. the player he was using was quite deadish shall we say, and it looped this portion of audio over and over again. He said 'someone should make a beat out of it' so I did just that. More fun with #Ableton #Note because why not?
