You find that even when it's the same company producing the teas, like #DM in #Germany Why not stop using the additional paper bags? Bummed that tea has been making my GERD worse, anyone have recommendations on more pH & gut friendly #teas/#tisanes?

I’ve been steeping for shorter times, but still getting the acidy acidy reflux. I love vegetal green teas and planty or creamy white teas and ooolongs best.

FWIW #Matcha lattes are usually safe, and I have a couple mulberry leaf and a holly leaf teas which I really like too!

My first order from WhatCha since 2018. As soon as I saw that the white teas from Malawi were back in stock I had to get some (and a few others as well). Nice to see that he’s still doing handwritten notes for every order :-)

So what is "instant pu-erh"? It's sometimes called 茶膏, "tea paste". Instead of steeping tea leaves, you make a decoction!
Basically tea leaves are boiled and are left to steep on low heat for days until there is no water left. The tea... residue? is then made to dry until it's hard, then it's aged.

The result is a very concentrated tea! #puerh #masteadon #teas

I have done a very good job of drinking my smaller teas, and I have now ONLY forty #teas in my tea drawer.
I try to avoid going above fifty in general, which means I'll have some margin to buy more after the spring harvest :blob_tea:​
And only eight #puerh cakes plus two pu-erh in somewhat loose form. One quarter of my teas being pu-erh seems very in character for me XD #masteadon

I do not own a kyusu, so I will be using my Korean #tea set.

I mostly drink Chinese #teas now, and I have not drank kukicha for years so I am excited. I got this tea last month from a Parisian teashop I had never visited before so I don't know how good it will be. #masteadon

Collected some of the withering #Hibiscus available from our tree to dry out and make tisane with.

What's a #tisane? Tisanes have no caffeine and can be served hot or cold.

#Teas come from the Camellia sinensis plant and are caffeinated to differing degrees.

Hibiscus blend (steep 5 mins):

- 2 cups boiled water
- 5 dried hibiscus flowers or 2 tablespoons dried and crushed flowers
- half lemon sliced thinly
- pinch of turmeric (optional)
- 1 teaspoon honey (use another sweetener if vegan).

Tea time! I have not actually decided yet what to drink, but this Sunday needs good tea. So here is a picture of my set-up! #teas #masteadon #gaiwan

Me, attempting to get around the French approach to tea (pour boiling water over it, great for black but disaster for green tea): I would like a tea, can I have the tea bag separate from the water?
