Kaum zu glauben, aber 2025 ist schon wieder fast Geschichte. Das Jahr ist, wie so oft, förmlich an mir vorbeigezogen. Die Zeit rast, und umso wichtiger finde ich es, am Ende eines Jahres innezuhalten und Bilanz zu ziehen. Was ist gut gelaufen? Was hat sich verändert? Was habe ich gelernt? Bereits zum fünften Mal in Folge fasse ich in diesem Beitrag mein Jahr in verschiedenen Kategorien zusammen. Es ist für mich zu einer wertvollen Tradition geworden, nicht nur die technischen Entwicklungen in meinem Smart-Home oder die Performance meiner PV-Anlage zu betrachten, sondern auch meine Finanzen, meinen Medienkonsum und natürlich die Entwicklungen hier auf dem Blog zu reflektieren. 2025 war ein Jahr der Konsolidierung und der bewussten Entscheidungen. Ich habe heute morgen das Android 16 QPR1 Update auf meinem Google Pixel 8 eingespielt. Mein erster Eindruck: ich habe das Gefühl ein neues Smartphone in den Händen zu halten. Das neue Design ist meiner Meinung nach absolut gelungen und ich hoffe, dass viele Apps diese Design Sprache adaptieren.

I upgraded to a Pixel 10 Pro because the promos made it super cheap for me—and honestly, Pixelsnap (Qi2/MagSafe) without a case is the only “new feature” I care about.
I disable all the AI features I can on my Google Account, so none of that new stuff interests me, but there *are* a handful of new things I’ve noticed but seen literally nobody mention in “reviews” or sales pages. I’ll compile them here in this thread for anyone interested.
