New images have captured federal employees inspecting damage in multiple spots of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool after President Donald Trump’s botched $17 million renovation.
Experts believe the lining troubles, which saw patches of lining floating to the top of the water, are likely due to a shoddy installation job by the no-bid contractor selected for the project.

I always end up having great ideas for #DIY Halloween costumes but then never get to go to any parties or do anything.
I've decided if this year is different I'm going as the algae reflecting pool.
I'll fashion a Washington Monument hat. My shirt and maybe a cape? Will have a long blue green rectangle with shreds of old ratty blue plastic tarp sewn into it.
Feel free to lift the idea. I proudly thought of this one on my own, but I imagine others have/will come up with it independently as well.

He's posted about the reflecting pool four times in a row today - twice it was just a bunch of photos. If an undrained swamp is what finally does him in, it would be delicious. #TeamAlgae

Bringing climate outreach into #TeamAlgae stand at #EdinburghScienceFestival: carbon cycle moly-mod game ('be an algae and fix some solar energy+CO2, or be a human and release them again!')... then for some, a chat about the greenhouse effect, and for some we moved further on to climate action and the #NEB (Scotland has vote for 16yr olds:)
As much for the other scientists there, as for general public - and more accepted on day 2 (table, not floorspace:)
