In the winter I typically have the bedroom at ≤19 °C. Experimentally for this cold spring morning I jacked it up to 21, and at 12.8 it didn’t cycle to maintain that temperature, just stayed on. The #ADU #TealLensman shall def. have modern R-factor...! #HVAC

Rather than gallivanting I cleaned the Computer Suite yesterday. Not to the extent of moving furniture, mind you, but it looks less like an archaeological dig. Photos to follow.

For some brain dead reason Mother’s printer connected via Wi-Fi, which it decided it doesn’t like anymore. All my coax are at #TealLensman of course.

Steady rain, which is welcome. Bought a v/nice long red "Oriental" rug at the Society of St. Vincent de Paul for $20 to serve as a replacement office chair mat, #TealLensman being wood floored. Surprised at how expensive retail foyer mats are. So now I'll have more room to scoot back...!

One of those 11-hour sleeps, seemingly. Woke up with my skin feeling adoringly slightly tacky from perspiration: 'Tis spring. Computer Suite at 19.3 ℃; #Coffee, Cup No. 2.

ᵠPleased to hear that Elder Nephew has landed an ideal position in his chosen industry.
ᵠTook out the bubble wrap, etc. and duct taped the AC window. Utilitarian is pretty.
ᵠOrganizing my pens such that the .07 mm are reserved for scrap paper and the .38 mm for the less ephemeral, as one does.

First sit-out on the Famous NE Deck, this after a 4.3 km stroll. Bought another shower curtain rod, clips, and one of those weird soap holders. 18.2 °C; lots of kids getting ahead of St. Patrick’s.

Didn’t have to mess with more substantial curtain rods at all –just repurposed what I had at hand. #TealLensman’s much more airy & light now as suits #Spring2024. Early morning #frost yesterday, 13.7 °C by 11:20 a.m. MDT today on the famous NE Deck. The finches are happy. #birds

Installed the dual smoke detector above the bedroom inasmuch as its surrounded by fuel and, on occasion, frat kids exploring the hallucinogenic effects of beer. Ridiculous that #TealLensman had two 18-year-old units at all!
