Das erinnert mich an die 4-tägige Bikepacking Tour mit meiner 9-jährigen Tochter zur Tour de France Femmes #freiburg > #Jura > #Basel (August 2024).Wir hatten für die 4 Tage hin und zurück 340 ruhige Kilometer bei knapp 4.000 Höhenmetern geplant.
Aber es kam anders und wir sind froh, dass wir da heile raus sind: In St. Ursanne fand ein Bergrennen statt und die Umleitung für die wegen des Rennens gesperrte Straße verlief über unser kleines Passsträßchen mit 14% Steigung. DAS WAR NICHT LUSTIG. Im Hintergrund die ohrenbetäubenden Motoren. Und die Fahrzeuge, die uns überholten, waren sicher auch zu 50% so aufgemotzte Kisten.
Und in der #Schweiz gilt ja, dass #ausreichend #überholabstand eingehalten werden muß.
Seelisch wurden wir verletzt. Vermutlich zählt das aber noch zu "der Abstand war ausreichend"!? Schließlich ist kein Blut geflossen...

Leichter umzusetzen als DAS hier. Gesehen auf der #tourdefrancefemmes #tdff #tdff2024 #tdffNo3 in #Morteau im #JuraImmerhin mussten die nicht maßstabsgetreu arbeiten, sondern konnten ihren Maßstab direkt anlegen. Obs wohl wirklich stimmt? :blob_gnikniht:

Vollering s'est superbement rattrapée après l'erreur tactique d'hier (attaquer sur le plat...?!). Mais sa défaite est surtout celle de la SD Worx-Protime et ses problèmes tactiques. Face à elle, Niewiadoma était prête pour ce moment. Elle était à son meilleur #TDFF2024

Speaking about ends, we're passing the terminal station of the line from Jarrie to Bourg-d'Oisans (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligne_de_Jarrie_au_Bourg-d'Oisans). Opened in 1849 as metre gauge line by the VFD, passenger traffic was replaced by buses in 1946, operated to this day by the VFD.
The line remained open for freight longer, up to Vizille there was three-railed track, and normal-gauge trains ran here until 2009. Traces of the metre gauge can be seen today (see photo's 🇳🇱 ⬆️ ) -

We komen ook langs het eindpunt van de lijn van Jarrie naar Bourg-d'Oisans (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligne_de_Jarrie_au_Bourg-d'Oisans). In 1894 geopend als metersporige lijn van de VFD, maar in 1946 verbust, vandaag nog steeds door de VFD uitgevoerd. Voor goederen heeft de lijn het langer uitgehouden - tot Vizille is de lijn zelfs drierailig geweest, en tot 2009 hebben hier treinen gereden. Maar ook het meterspoor is her en der nog te zien.
