    My favorite cow photo is Rufty and Tufty, Highland cattle kept by the owner of the Loch Ericht Inn in Dalwhinnie, Scotland, by Jim Richardson in 2001 for Smithsonian magazine. I reached out to him for permission to use his photo (for educational purposes) more than a decade later and he responded quickly and gave me permission! It never hurts to ask and #tdc are educational!
