Otto Kruger is fantastic as Van Slack in #AnotherThinMan. Nails the comedic stuff with William Powell, chews off the scenery when the script's appetite demands. Almost a Marty Feldman level of expressiveness in those eyeballs. Just first rate.

The family scenes in
#AnotherThinMan have aged well. Particularly when the baby wakes Nora up, Asta tends to him, and Nora puts him on Nick to wake him up. -
I really don't trust this goofy Colonel.
And I am so glad for modern anti-stalking laws.
Killing someone's dog seems actionable in those times, at least.

For a murder mystery, the pacing in #AfterTheThinMan is astonishing in 2025. The murder doesn't happen until the movie is half over. You're wondering what the crime will be for an hour.

The social world in #TheThinMan movies fascinates me: all the folks who Nick incarcerated, and their loved ones, respect and honor him. Possibly because he never deceived them. They don't hold him accountable for a corrupt system, or they think he gave them a fair shake. #TCMAfterParty
