I was purely a freelancer for ~14 years and doing taxes was always a nightmare. If anything, it got worse as time went on.
And then I took a staff position without formally closing my freelance business, so I get to do it *both* ways.
And then I opened an Etsy shop, and that's a third nightmare.
I think I spent most of three days doing taxes this year. *With* software.

I was purely a freelancer for ~14 years and doing taxes was always a nightmare. If anything, it got worse as time went on.
And then I took a staff position without formally closing my freelance business, so I get to do it *both* ways.
And then I opened an Etsy shop, and that's a third nightmare.
I think I spent most of three days doing taxes this year. *With* software.
