what i hate about Apartheid Melon and and all the #MAGA #techbros, is that they treat Texas as a plantation, at best; and an open prison, at worse. to them, Texans are dimwitted people too stupid to live there, too broke to leave and too afraid to fight back.

because, seriously, #nyc has the perfect street grid, specifically developed for #taxis and public #transportation. yet you KNOW there is no fucking way WE THE PEOPLE would allow remote-controlled death traps on our streets.

#DOJ finally files #ADA accomodation case in #SanFrancisco against #Uber that most govt entities have ignored and sat on for well over a decade...

In the complaint, the US Dept. of Justice
claimed that Uber drivers “routinely refuse to serve individuals with disabilities, including individuals who travel with #ServiceAnimals or who use stowable #Wheelchairs."

The complaint also alleged that drivers oft
“insult and demean people with disabilities or ask them inappropriate questions.”

Travis Kalanick debuted so-called #rideshare car & limo service in San Francisco in 2010 claiming it was "revolutionary" idea and unlike regulated #taxis, the #WallStUnicorn has never been in compliance with #disability accomodations since, yet finally gets challenged in 2025 under #Drumpf administration enforcement effort...

Perhaps some #DJT #baksheesh will be forthcoming.to forestall case?
