Another fresh vs healed comparison, this one is roughly seven months old.

I've exhausted my collection for #TattooTuesday. Instead of showing "never seen before" tattoos I'll bore you with pictures from (parts) of me where my ink is visible.

The Celtics are ~24 years old, the tree was added ~4 years ago.

Back to the first tattoo I shared for #TattooTuesday

I love seeing how the Initial concept to transfer and final piece develops. The artist originally put a group of pyramids at the bottom as the concept was a Nubian dryad but I felt that was too Egyptian (even though Sudan has a huge number of pyramids). I showed him a picture of the Nile I took in my families village with a mountain in the background and he did a perfect replication as a replacement.

It’s time for a #TattooTuesday comparison! This is my cuttlefish tattoo that was completed in August 2022, on the right is today (hastily shot so ignore the awkward pose). In six months the vibrant reds and blues have faded but it’s still gorgeous!

My #TattooTuesday submission today is my left arm.
This was my first publicly visible tattoo.

Squeezing in a Fresh Vs Healed for #TattooTuesday

This was completed three days before the first lock down in March 2020 and the artist is in London so I was only able to drop by his shop and show it this past August. The purple lost its vibrancy but faded into a nice shade and overall it really holds up nearly three years later.

My latest piece for #TattooTuesday! This cuttlefish is incredibly gorgeous and I love it but I really wish the artist had listened to me about color choices on dark skin as the blue has faded significantly along with the vibrancy so the details get very lost in the line work. I plan to balance that out with a smaller piece by the artist who did the octopus.

I guess I’ll start sharing healed vs fresh next as I’ve shared all my tattoos :blobcatsurprised:
