What I found interesting is the relationship between the institutionalised detachment of private schools and the parents. You see how loyal they are to their class, even more than their own family, to which they have, frankly speaking, a parasocial relationship. like they joke in this series how they can only express emotions to their pets because they can't to their family or friends. I'm not suggesting you should feel sorry for them, but it does offer an insight into how an unconscious class consciousness is formed in the bourgeoisie.
