Public Service Announcement for those that use #Tassimo #coffee machines.
I now eschew capsule coffee*, but the machine is in the house already and once or twice a year I fancy a decaf at night.
If you put the capsule in twisted by mistake & close the lid, throw the capsule away! If you reposition it and try to make coffee, it *will* shit the bed and cover everything with coffee grounds. Ask me how I know. 15 minutes' cleanup, minimum.

I've been using a refillable/reusable pod in my #Tassimo pod machine for 9 months now. It's cheaper + reduces waste but it took some trial & error to get the best results. Hopefully my video will help people thinking about switching from single use: https://youtu.be/9jlXHmEIjlQ

They owns trademarks like #Jacobs, #L’Or, #Tassimo, and #Douwe #Egberts
They will only sell local coffee brands in russia. CEO Fabien Simon said that the company will not leave russia due to the high risk that the company’s “assets and intellectual properties would be nationalised by the russian state or given to third parties in russia”

Your #Tassimo is based on an STM32 + scanner from #Motorole. There is a switch button activated by closing the lid. Pointing to the chassis front, there is a sensor to detect cup presence. And finally, the pump mechanism is controlled by two connectors (red+blue), probably just PWM.
How is the Motorola scanner connected? It's 8 lines, two of which would be VCC+GND. So, SPI then, probably? -
