Accidental #veganism. I was going to make #chicken and #mushroom #soup for my lunch, but opened the fridge and found an unexpected half a #leek, so mushroom and leek soup instead. Other ingredients: #tarragon, #mustard, #garlic, pickled #lemon, #SoySauce. Like all the best European food it's made entirely from #OldWorld ingredients.

For dinner, my wife treated me with a very special quiche.
In the filling are #GarlicFlowers and fresh #tarragon shoots. The tarragon is not chopped up, so you get nice bursts of aniseed in the mouth with every other fork.
There is usually just this one shot at a good recipe with the garlic flowers a year. This was perfection (which might not be reflected in my photo).😉
