When you're planning on doing a tarot reading (whether it's for yourself or a client), what are some things you need to have or do first?

Speaking for myself, I've settled into a routine of making myself some tea and lighting a candle before I do anything. I'm not sure what about this particular combination gets me into the right mindset for a reading, but it does.

Let's talk about getting out of the #TarotCloset. I've been learning and practicing non-predictive #Tarot for years and I've even been paid for it. However, to this day I still don't dare to be open with this topic. I feel like the moment I say it, people will think I'm less intelligent or rational. I have to quickly explain how archetypes work or what an evolutionary Tarot reading consists of. Fellow non-predictive #TarotReaders, have you had these kinds of feelings? How did you deal with them?
