Day one of a long big-review-and-more work week in the books. Gonna get worse before it gets better, but Friday will be here in four days regardless.

Next Freaks Day Out is Saturday in Red Hook. If you're in or around NYC, you should definitely come hang. Super chill, great tunes, and the best sandwiches in town are right there for the taking. You'd be a fool NOT to come.

Tonight: keeping it chill with an early dose of the singular Charlie Parr. As far as grizzled folk goes, this guy is severely underrated, although Mercury Lounge pretty full for an early Friday start. Started at 7:20 on a 7:30 start time! Fine by me. Sounds so damn good, a sound anyone would love.
