The platform will begin phased operations with Intercity and Midleton services. The wider programme, Ireland’s largest-ever investment in Cork’s rail network, will provide a more frequent, sustainable, and integrated system, supporting new stations, future electrification, and the Cork Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy (CMATS).
