I dag vaknar jag upp i Boden och har nu kommit vidare till Gällivare för studiebesök med #Skolhusgruppen på Kunskapshuset Gällivare, Kiruna samt Raketskolan plus seminarium om gymnasieplanering. Gårdagskvällens samtal på tåget satte verkligen igång tankar (bl a om #förundranseffekten) och räknar med att dagen blir extremt lärorik med mången #tankespjärn.

Interesting episode of #ProfessorT tonight. Although I had watched the Belgian original, I hadn't understood what had shaped Professor Tempest's character.
The #tankespjärn moment where his world view changes on hearing that his father had not killed himself because of his mother's - incorrectly assumed - infidelity was extraordinary. In that split second his therapy was complete.
Perhaps this could be classed as a #tankespjärn moment for me too! -

How long have humans been consumers? Are all species consumers? Can we avoid it? Is that even possible? Desirable? Can I be ‘a better’ or ‘a worse’ consumer? Is all ways of consumption ‘bad/negative/undesirable/unwanted/not-serving’? -
Early morning taxi-ride invites musings.
Up earlier than usual to a world still wrapped in the darkness of night. Just now dawn arrived, such a distinct shift, except when ‘looking right at/into it’ because then it is so gradual you cannot really see it shifting.
What in your life is like that?
Shifting so gradually you don’t notice… except when you catch yourself actually focusing on it.
What is that ‘it’?

…and at the same time, if you look back at your life, is it the easy or the hard times that you’ve learnt most from?
(Deliberately I am not writing ‘good/bad’ times, and possibly even ‘easy/hard’ could be replaced with a more well suited word-pair.)

Sometimes (oftentimes. Perhaps even always?) something has to give.
We keep piling it on, adding and adding, without ever letting go… it doesn’t work, long term.
So something has to give.
Question is, what? -
Radical Honesty.
Means what?
*say everything on my mind?
*everything I say I genuinely, honestly stand by, experiencing it as my truth?
*nothing I say is said as a deliberate lie (white or otherwise)?
