Whisper and Tangle are released for Sonic Racing Crossworlds. ❤️

Sadly them not having voices, like all DLC characters, is really a pity, I'd love hearing Tangle's obvious enthusiasm.

OF COURSE there's already a voice mod on PC. 😁
I'm playing on PS5, though. I'll survive, but cry. 😅

That said, it seems most people online are currently playing as one of them, I approve of that. 😁

Alright! Whisper's and Tangle voice actresses are lovely!

Whisper sounds nearly exactly as I expected/hoped for, Tangle's voice is, mhh, hard to say, different than I expected, but both of them are fitting and did a great job!

If you just want to listen to them, a fitting scene with both speaking is just before 11 minutes of the new podcast.

The Whisper and Tangle event will be running in Sonic Racing Crossworlds from 2026-02-25 to 2026-03-01.

On one hand that's good because it won't clash with my Furry convention visits. On the other hand, AiAi Event will be on Valentine's Day, and I was among the people who really hoped Whisper and Tangle would get the Valentine's treatment. 😅😭

I've been driving late tonight, which is why I'm writing this so late (for my time zone), but my brain basically spent the last 20 minutes or so coming up with a tear-jerking (in a positive way) fanfic scene idea with IDW Sonic's Whisper and Tangle.

I don't feel that I'm already ready to write fanfics about them, I'm still so early in the comics, but I really want to write that scene. But I'll need to lead up to it!
