🇮🇹 Dalla bozza della manovra finanziaria, emerge l'aumento dell'Iva dal 5% al 10% sui prodotti per l'infanzia e sulla cosiddetta "tampon tax".
Terminano, dopo appena un anno, le misure di sostegno per l'acquisto di latte in polvere, alimenti per neonati, assorbenti, tamponi, coppette mestruali...
Un occasione sprecata per il Governo Meloni e un passo indietro in tema di diritti delle donne e delle famiglie.

The #TamponTax was abolished in 2021, meaning #menstrual products such as #tampons and pads now have a zero rate of VAT. However, #PeriodUnderwear - a reusable alternative - are still taxed at 20%. This contributes to the continuing problem of #period poverty in the UK by making sustainable and cost-effective menstrual products less affordable.

Während in Australien die sogenannte #TamponTax abgeschafft wird, gelten in Deutschland Tampons und andere Menstruationsartikel immer noch nicht als Artikel des täglichen Bedarfs. Deswegen gilt für sie auch der 19%-MWSt-Satz und nicht der vergünstigte 7%-MWSt-Satz.
Was in Deutschland u.a. als Artikel des täglichen Bedarfs deklariert ist: Kavier, Trüffel, Froschschenkel, Maulesel, Rennpferd, uvm.
