  1. I just got informed by a couple of amigos about an anti-war protest in Tamaki Makaurau on April 11. The only place I could find info on the web is FarceBook (at least I can see it without logging in);

    I tried DDG, Brave Search, Mojeek, nada. It took a StartPage search of the Goggle Search index to find that FB page. This is ludicrous folks.

    Let's get all this into the social web?

  2. Auckland peeps 📢

    Join us tomorrow Saturday 31st of January at Te Komititanga, Waitematā Train station (previously Britomart) for Toitū Te Aroha, an event organised to bring communities together in solidarity and response to increasingly emboldened hate peddlers. ✊🏼🌱

    We stand against bigotry and discrimination.

    Everyone is welcome but the hateful.

  4. Want to come show your love for a thriving, living Hauraki Gulf?

    Join us on Sunday!
    It will be a fun day on the beach, with games and family activities, while supporting a protected marine environment for all living creatures, not fishing industries.

    I am genuinely worried about @nzgreens losing Auckland Central. @_chloeswarbrick is so so awesome but there might be residual guilt from people who "should've voted" for Efeso to settle on giving their vote to a brown dude. If you live in that electorate, please talk to your friends and neighbours... the Greens genuinely do great things in government, we need them

    This is the first time I’ve flown anywhere since the #BeforeTimes. It’s a beautiful day in #TamakiMakaurau.

  16. #introduction

    I’m Ninja, I hail from #aotearoa. Currently in #Rotorua but most of my stuff is still in #tamakimakaurau. I’ve lurked for a while but with the bird app going under, I’ve joined the #NZTwits migration to this being my main platform.

    I’m a #LiveEventsTech with a focus on #music #Musicals & #circus.

    I love reading, I’m excited to meet #bookstodon 🖤 I enjoy #crafting, mostly #crossstitch & #LatchHook but starting to make notebooks. Also #photography #gaming & playing music

  17. Kia ora tātou, #introduction time.
    I’m from Ngāti Kahungunu, grew up in #HawkesBay, and now live in #TāmakiMakaurau with Jo, our three teenage boys and one very ‘exuberant’ dog.
    I’m a public health physician and Associate Professor in #MāoriHealth at the #UniversityOfAuckland. My teaching and research focuses on #IndigenousHealth, #HealthEquity, #PlanetaryHealth and #ClimateJustice.
    I’m interested in #ActiveTransport / #urbanism and love #football (longtime #NUFC supporter, now very conflicted).
