Last week we heard a band called Tall Heights play one single song called Spirit Cold, live, in a huge hall, completely acoustic. Just a cello, a guitar and two voices. It was unexpected and ethereally beautiful.
Turns out I do not enjoy their usual style, or any of their other songs! I can't even find a recording of that one song like how we experienced it. Closest I've found is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlacwLjpuYs
Weird to just have to be satisfied with having experienced it at all.

This is the second time I've seen #TallHeights open for #BenFolds, and they were also fantastic. They helped Folds make his new album (#WhatMattersMost), and so they stuck around to play the whole concert, which was great. I love that BF has been helping so much to get more visibility for TH, which definitely deserve to be headliners. 2/2
