We were joined by a #pennyfarthing at the august #criticalmass. It was so amazing to see a symbol of Victorian-era innovation that is a kind of #tallbike ride next to the CM tall-bike sound system. #BikeTooter The rider was dressed so daper as well.

@Laird_Dave @thijs_lucas ich fahre halt (auch) gerne #Tallbike, siehe @touren.
Und dazu gibt es überhaupt keine kommerziellen Werkstätten (egal mit wie viel Geld - zum Glück!).Also selbst beibringen und machen.
Auch fällt mir gerade nichts ein, was ich in der Zeit [irgendwie nach Gerlingen kommen zum Rad weg bringen, wieder heim und dann wieder hin zum Abholen und wieder heim] nicht selbst hinkriege.
Und in der #Bikekitchen kann ich noch andere mit ihren Radproblemen unterstützen. -

#criticalmassms #Münster Gestern 42 tolle Menschen auf ihren #Fahrrädern dabei war auch ein #Tallbike , viele #Lastenräder und zwei #Lastenanhängergespanne. War super!
21,4 km mit einem Durchschnitt von 15,8 km/h, Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 24 km/h und einer Fahrzeit von 1:38 Std.

#Eugene's only #tallbike gang posted up on campus to teach people how to ride tall-bikes and also promote #critcalmass (which is today, friday 10-25, meet 630pm kesey square for a #halloween #bike ride) . About 20ish people were able to mount, ride and dismount a tall-bike. only 3 falls, with only one requiring a band-aid. Mounting a tall bike is 90% courage and 10% muscle and skill. #biketooter

Video of last months #criticalmass #afterparty. We ride till like 9pm then throw a proper after till the wee hours of the morning. #firespinners #campfire #libations #snacks live #djs and plenty of #dancing and socializing amongst critical massers and their friends (the party is so 🔥 that people show up just for it) It's at a dope #river #beach spot on the #Willamette. Sound is all battery operated, no gas generators. All the fire wood is hauled by my trailer towed by my #tallbike.

was auch nicht gerade die schlauste Idee war: diesen Helium(?) Ballon so anzubringen, dass er genau auf der Höhe meines Gesichts schwebte. Da wurde es durchaus ab und zu mal etwas hektisch, wenn ich im Gedrängel auf einmal nur noch hellgrün sah. ;-)
