Question on Eastern #Taiwan - I have been overnight to #Hualien #Taroko and #Taitung (Luye).
I understand the coast along Route 11 (and 9? 2?) must be very nice. But I won't have a car. So I rely on bus and on a town with at least some dining options/places to stay and probably some options of things to do (hiking, cycling, ...?).
Travel time will be october/november.Would you recommend doing it? Which places should I consider?

10 Tage Urlaub in #Taiwan weil woanders is ja auch scheisse!
Heute: mit dem Express Train knappe 2.5h von #Kaohsiung nach #Taitung - Businessklasse kostet (mit Bento und Getraenk) etwa 24 Euro.
Vorbei an Mango- und Reisfeldern, Shrimp-Teichen, inzwischen ziemlich viel Solarfarmen, der Taiwan-Strasse und den atemberaubenden Bergen dieser wunderschoenen Insel.
