I've tried Tahoma 2D with this animation, and I must say that this software works really well; I badly recommend it.
It is very similar to OpenToonz, because it's based on it.
Well, I hope you like the software and my stupid animation.😀

New major version, v1.5, for the #Tahoma2D animation app. It works well under Linux, minus the fact that it doesn't launch from the app menu (you gotta use the terminal or a file manager to navigate to its appimage). Overall, impressive app.
Another similar app, Synfig Studio, also has major new features on their dev branch.

The only way to fix the bug is to revert to an older version, or use a nightly build, which would have who knows what other bugs.
Other OpenToonz users have advised me to use Tahoma 2D, a fork of OpenToonz. Let's see how that one goes...
btw, anyone that has experience with #openToonz or #tahoma2d can say how easy is to get into them? specifically for tween based animation and some motion graphics
WIP show-style mare puppet, done in #Tahoma2D, an #OpenToonz fork.

I've been working on an OpenToonz/Tahoma2D compatible #MLP FiM style mare puppet base. The magic cycle needs a little bit of adjustment on the radial gradient, but it's pretty damn accurate, all thanks to this awesome showcase of leaked canon Flash assets.
