To the #aviation bubble here: After a long search and trying out various apps and widgets, I’ve come to the conclusion that there is NO good app or truly good widget for #METAR and #TAF on #Android.

Requirements:
- Clean, simple design (app & widget)

- switch between Raw & Decoded
- No ads & unnecessary permissions
- Runs smoothly on GrapheneOS (without Play Services) -

@stefanlindbohm @lewd there is "an implementation period" which is meant to give time to implement these, albeit in my opinion, minimum standards.
One of the big complaints by some is "how little time there is to make these changes". Despite the fact that this has been proposed for at least three years.
The European Agency for Railways (ERA) published an introduction to the TSIs, including TAF and TAP, and would expect them to do the same for the TEL TSI. Just not yet.

This replaces the Telematic Applications for Freight (TAF) and Telematic Applications for Passenger services (TAP).
I think it is an improvement but am aware others don't necessarily agree with me.

Le plus dur, outre le fait de m'y remettre après presque deux ans d'arrêt... C'est surtout de rentrer dans mes vêtements de travail avec "quelques" kilos en plus :blob_sweat:
Comme quoi, être #Végane n'est pas forcément la garantie d'une #Alimentation saine/variée/équilibrée...
Gageons qu'un rythme de vie régulier couplé à une activité pérenne sauront y remédier 💪

Mon nouveau +2 arrive et passe devant notre bureau (Open Space)
Moi, de bonne humeur et le voyant arriver vers nous: Bonjouuuuuur 🎶
Lui : *passe devant nous sans un mot ni un regard vers le bureau de l'expert. Voit qu'il n'est pas là.* ... Vous savez où il est <prénom de l'expert>?
Moi : .... Il est parti sur site il y a de ça 2 minutes.
Lui : *repart sans un mot*
1 heure plus tard, 3 collègues sont arrivés dans le bureau depuis son dernier passage.
Lui : *passe devant l'ensemble de l'équipe. Pas un regard ni un bonjour. Va en direction du bureau de l'expert et lui pose des questions. Repart ensuite*
Avec l'ensemble de l'équipe on s'est tous regardés en silence, on s'est tous fait intérieurement la même réflexion : ça promet avec lui. -
