It was a week ago Saturday that we walked through the Tacoma Art Museum (first time). Beautiful and thought provoking art housed in a beautiful modern building. One piece really stood out as representative of our current and troubling times. It is shaped in the form of an opuntia cactus (nopal) and made from the fabric of Border Patrol uniform. Nopales is a regular food item in Mexican culture. I like it scrambled with eggs. #art #museum #Tacoma #TacomaArtMuseum #TAM #borderpatrol #ICE #PNW
