A few hours ago, the Chinese Zhuque-3 Y2 rocket blasted off from the Dongfeng commercial area, carrying the Honghu-03 satellite. The second stage successfully reached orbit with payload separation, achieving a successful primary mission on this rocket's second flight, the first to deploy a real satellite into orbit. A goal for LandSpace, the company that developed the rocket, was to land the first stage, which was successful.

The DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys team has released the largest 2D map of the universe. Consisting of 5.6 trillion pixels, this map includes nearly 4 billion objects, ranging from asteroids to galaxies, as well as other objects such as stars, black holes, and more. It's a vast archive spanning approximately three-quarters of the sky, useful for astronomical studies requiring information at optical and near-infrared frequencies.

A few hours ago, the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, and, after a little more than three hours, reached the International Space Station with three new crew members on board. It docked with the Station's Prichal module. The ultra-fast track was used, which halves the journey duration and is used whenever the Station's position makes it possible.
