An article published in the journal "Science Advances" reports the discovery of a decagon-shaped structure at the planet Saturn's south pole. A team of researchers led by Professor Agustín Sánchez-Lavega of the University of the Basque Country combined observations conducted with the Hubble Space Telescope between 2023 and 2025.

A little while ago, NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope was launched atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from the Kennedy Space Center. After just over 31 minutes, it successfully separated from the rocket's last stage and set course for the area known as L2 (Lagrange Point 2), where its scientific mission will begin.

A few hours ago, the Chinese Zhuque-3 Y2 rocket blasted off from the Dongfeng commercial area, carrying the Honghu-03 satellite. The second stage successfully reached orbit with payload separation, achieving a successful primary mission on this rocket's second flight, the first to deploy a real satellite into orbit. A goal for LandSpace, the company that developed the rocket, was to land the first stage, which was successful.

A little while ago, cosmonauts Sergey Kud‑Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev and astronaut Chris Williams returned to Earth on the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft, which landed in Kazakhstan. They had reached the International Space Station on November 27, 2025, as part of a normal crew rotation.

It was the afternoon in the USA when SpaceX conducted a new flight test of its Super Heavy rocket and Starship prototypes. This is the 13th test involving the entire system of Elon Musk's company. They are advanced prototypes with the Super Heavy identified as Booster 20 and the Starship identified as Starship 40 or Ship40 or simply S40. It was the second test of the vehicles in their Block 3 version.

A few hours ago, the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan, and, after a little more than three hours, reached the International Space Station with three new crew members on board. It docked with the Station's Prichal module. The ultra-fast track was used, which halves the journey duration and is used whenever the Station's position makes it possible.

A few hours ago, the Long March 10B rocket performed its maiden flight, which started with its launch from the Wenchang launch site. The rocket's first stage also performed a controlled landing on a sea platform, as part of the development of a reusable launch system. This is a significant achievement because it's a rocket that will be used for China's crewed Moon missions.

A team of researchers used observations conducted with ESA's Euclid space telescope as part of the Euclid Wide Survey to find quasars we see as they were when the universe was no more than 800 million years old.

A few hours ago, the LINK spacecraft was launched using not a rocket that blasted off from the ground, but a small Pegasus XL rocket launched from an L-1011 Stargazer aircraft that took off from Kwajalein Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. The goal is to raise the orbit of NASA's Swift Space Observatory to prevent it from falling into Earth's atmosphere and disintegrating.
