It seems best not to approach this Tachina fera fly from behind. They feed on pollen, nectar or the secretions of aphids, but their larvae parasitize the caterpillars of moths.

Am besten nähert man sich dieser Tachina fera-Fliege nicht von hinten. Sie ernähren sich von Pollen, Nektar oder den Ausscheidungen von Blattläusen, aber ihre Larven parasitieren an den Raupen von Nachtfaltern.
