Kann mal jemand endlich das arme tote Pferd erlösen?

Mit dem Geld hätte man bis 1GWh Batteriespeicher strategisch verteilt finanzieren können. Mit langfristiger positiver Wirkung auf unser aller Stromkosten und die Energiewende ..... aber nein, lieber schmeisst man einem hoffnungslosen Projekt von BMW noch eine Viertel Milliarde hinterher. Und macht Sauerkraut-Söder und "Das Naziflugblatt hat mein Bruder geschrieben"-Hubsi damit noch happy.

I did a thing!

Anyone here remember emojicons.com? It was a lookup page for ascii-style emotes (like the good ol' #tableflip for example), that unfortunately went offline sometime in late 2022.

Luckily it's been archived by archive.org, and I was able to grab all the emotes, and with some JS the whole database of (surprisingly just) 400-ish emoticons lives on!

No tracking, ads, cookiebanners, or even much styling - just the absolute basics of a website: https://sirs0ri.github.io/look-up/

Affinity acquired by Canva. 😭 I really want to believe the enthusiastic CEO-talk about kindred spirits and a world of possibilities. But oh well I've been burnt too many times. Nothing changes right now, yeah, yeah. But believe me, they'll be busy squeezing the acquisition-money back out of us customers soon enough...

Just had an absolutely dreadful support experience with #godaddy - Why are these bozos still the top registrar?

#namecheap is such a better experience and they seem to actually know what they're doing.

It took me almost 40 minutes to answer a simple question, with half a dozen pitfall forks in the conversation, including them asking me to 'try again in an incognito window'

Dude, I'm asking how to do something.
