  1. Samsung starts testing firmware for the Galaxy Tab S12 series

The Galaxy Tab S11 series was released in the second half of this year. It provides improvements over the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and it comes in two variants: the base Galaxy Tab S11, and the bigger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. It also introduces a more grippy S Pen so that you can write more comfortably and with no hassle.

The Galaxy Tab S12 has been rumored that it’s going to be the next tablet series, and Samsung’s official firmware servers confirmed the existence of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S series. The information about the Galaxy Tab S12 is still scarce, so not much is known about the tablets yet.

According to the folks at SammyGuru, courtesy of KeepUpwithOneUI, the Galaxy Tab S12+ was spotted on test servers (SM-X846B), with build X846BXXU0AZE5, in India [INS], Europe [EUX], and more. Similarly, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra was spotted on test servers (SM-X946B), with build X946BXXU0AZDN, in India [INS], Europe [EUX], and more, according to Samsung Welt.

The Wi-Fi counterparts, SM-X840 and SM-X940 for the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Tab S12 Ultra, weren’t spotted yet. The cellular version was considered first before the Wi-Fi version.

The battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to have a 10,392 mAh battery, which is quite significant to the 8,400 mAh battery with the Galaxy Tab S11. The OLED panel that the Galaxy Tab S12+ uses consumes a considerable amount of power, and Galaxy AI uses extra battery.
