By the time I turn attention fully back to my timeline, I’ll be ~1k posts away from #t00t.
I find it so hard to juggle “full on” real life (2 day industry conference and socialising) with keeping up here.
I expect I’ll be caught up by end of the weekend…maybe…?
Hope y’all have had as much fun as I have at the end of the week.

Well, a bit of a slog, but I made it.
Got to over 1,000 unread posts, it rarely gets that bad.
And it seemed to jump back in time and increase by about 300 more than I expected one night. 🤷🏼

Finally caught up on ~2 weeks worth of backed-up toots (around 16,000) #t00t
Sorry (not sorry) for the higher-than-usual amount of boosting over the last few days as I got caught up.
Work's been crazy busy as of late, easily the busiest I've been in the last 5 years or so. I've been feeling pretty burned out in the evenings, so I've spent less time here (and on my projects) and more time doing things that don’t require me to think so much!
Fortunately this week will be a nice change of pace - but more on that tomorrow!

This has been creeping up for about a week, but real life is really impacting my time online. This is a little over two days.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing, and I don’t get anxiety the way I used to when I was on Twitter and Facebook about getting to #T00t / #P0st – I think it helps that Masto will leave things in the same order so I can easily scroll to find posts I’ve already read, and I’ve just totally changed my relationship to social media generally.
So I won’t apologise for late replies/boosts/likes, and they can be little gifts from the past (or is it from the future?).

OMD that #t00t has been a long time coming. Been behind for almost two weeks.
Trying to get to Timeline Zero used to stress me no end – I’m more chill about it now, but still have a preference to clear the deck daily if I can.

After mostly being away for three days at a conference, my timeline got up to just under 1,000 unread posts.
It has taken a day and a half of on-and-off scrolling to achieve #T00t, but I just got there.
Time for a nap, I love youse all!!

This is what I’ve come home to after not reading posts for just over 3 days, so about 450 posts day – I wonder if that’s high or low?
The unread posts count hasn’t been that high for quite some time, but I’m feeling comfortable at the prospect of just chipping away till I get it down to zero (#T00t).

Just over a day later, down below 500 – #T00t, here I come!

750 posts away from #T00t – not entirely sure how it’s crept up so far.
A few extra follows, a few days of ennui, it all adds up.
Not upset or anxious about it, just…noticing a vague sense of disconnectedness, I guess.
Probably the only form of time travel I’ll ever be able to afford 🤣

24 hours later I’ve just seen this post in my timeline.
It’s likely everything that was queued has now arrived, I am still 400 posts away from #T00t status.

#T00t means I’ve caught up on my timeline, like inbox zero, I’ve been doing so much else and my timeline is bulging it’s been hard to achieve lately.

OMFG! #T00t! It’s been a struggle recently, what with all the #MARCHintosh and #GlobalTalk chatter, to keep on top of my timeline.
I wonder how long I’ll be able to maintain it…

CW: Mental health, anxiety
I’ve been hitting #T00t pretty well lately. My timeline doesn’t accelerate away from me, which is nice.
#FOMO on “worthwhile” stuff is something I had to let go of to avoid anxiety at never hitting “Timeline Zero”.
It feels like such a stupid thing to get anxious about, but there I was.
If only I could get rid of my other anxiety drivers, but this week has been a struggle.
I honestly feel like I’m living a lie, it’s so hard to face up to how PDA has manifested itself 😔

Huzzah! At midday exactly, my Saturday morning long lie in resulted in me achieving #T00t I think for the first time this week.
And I don’t have much else planned for today, certainly not useful productivity!

I’ve been mostly maintaining #T00t since my last report – maybe get a day or two behind, but never a long way behind for a long time.
I’ve slowly added mutes for topics where I can (would love multi-level mutes, maybe I’m just missing something), added a couple of Follows.
I may go through again and find some more mutuals.

I’m keeping up with my timeline much better at the moment, so #T00t days are much more common.
If you follow me and I don’t follow back, please understand I am managing my cognitive load and tempering my desire to keep up with everything.
I’m liberally using “mute boosts” and muting some accounts which are regularly boosted by you fine folks, with the same aim of reducing my self-induced pressure to read everything on my timeline.
All that said, I love this place :)

#T00t! OMG, finally! That took much longer than I expected. I’ve also adjusted my followings. About 500 posts a day now.
