As it's the 1st Sunday of the month and #mdadm's periodic checks runs, here's a short plug for all those who want the #SoftwareRAID state in their #LinuxDesktop monitored without installing a fully fledged #monitoring system like Icinga or Xymon:

I wrote a small helper for the #systemtray showing an icon with green, yellow or red state indicators and doing notifications in case of change.

I wish there was a way to keep @libreoffice resident in memory (like on the #systray) on Linux.

Apparently it used to have this feature, but doesn't any longer.

I use 9 virtual desktops, so if I keep a #LibreOffice window minimized on one of them and open a document on another one, it zooms me over to that desktop, so that's not a solution, either, unfortunately.

@mullvadnet has anyone reported to you that updating to MullvadVPN-2023.4_amd64.deb leads to a missing #SystrayIcon?

I downgraded to MullvadVPN-2023.3_amd64.deb and now the #Systray icon is back.

There was nothing wrong with the program, it worked as normal but each time I needed to see the #interface I would need to open the program from a menu again.

Turns out, there IS a solution, in the package #blueman.

It integrated into the #systray, but it kinds of stands out. I kinda like it - YMMV.

There. That was the only thing I could pick nits about! Awesome software!
