I've been using #LinuxMint to wean myself from #M$. It's my conclusion that Linux is like a jigsaw puzzle where the parts are constantly changing, Stability and accomplishment are not Linux goals, I feel like #Sysiphus.

I often pick up waste on my daily walk on Park Island but after the storm washed up everything from the surrounding rivers into the estuary, I feel outclassed. Weird how that works - the sheer volume of the rubbish I saw today meant I just didn't pick up anything. Well, that and the fact that it's so cold today.
I don't think the photo really does it justice - the rubbish is quite beautiful in a Jeff Vandermeer sort of way. Like it might animate itself into a gorgeous monster. This lot was piled up against a net that kept it from washing deeper into the island itself.
I know it won't stay there long as there are other people who clean up the rubbish much more effectively than I do, they'll be along later this week.
I always feel a bit useless, when I'm picking up litter. Like, it's good when it's no longer clogging up the water and strewn across the beach, but it's just going into a bin, right? To the landfill just down the road.
